 Frozen is a mainstream film that targets a mainstream audience. They appeal to every age range, children, teens, young adults, adults and an elderly audience. Their primary audience is young children and their secondary audience is adults. The film is used for entertainment and escapism for both children and adults as it allows them to escape reality and focus's on the film. This then links to the uses and gratification theory by Blumler and Katz.

Street Dance 3D is a niche film that targets a niche audience. They appeal to mostly dancers and aspiring dancers. Their Primary audience is dancers and their secondary audience is aspiring dancers. The film is used for entertainment, escapism and personal identification for dancers and aspiring dancers who watch this film and influence them to become or take interest in street dance. This then links to the uses and gratification theory.

Analyse how mise-en-scene elements contributed to the construction of stereotypes in media product you have studied (15 marks). In the bathroom fight scene during 'Worlds End' it conforms to  the negative  stereotypes and stigma of gang culture. The elements within mise-en-scene have contributed massively  to the construction of stereotypes in the film 'Worlds End'. Du e to the media representing hoodies as negative and with a bad connotation in order to scapegoat gang culture, t his is conformed  to within the sequence by showing young hooded boys who start a fight with older men.
